Martin’s record in three seasons: 63-41 overall, 32-20 in Southeastern Conference play. Martin’s winning percentages: .606 overall, .615 in SEC games. The highlight was this year’s run to the Sweet 16 as a No. 11 seed – a run aided by facing No. 14 Mercer in the round of 32, and nearly ended in the play-in round before an overtime escape against Iowa.

Tuesday we found out how disenchanted he was, when he took the California job. Tennessee players took to Twitter immediately after the news broke to make clear what they felt about fan treatment of their coach.

Because a majority of our fan base is dumb as fukk, that's why. Those dumb rednecks from East Tennessee are the worst. I remember when I still lived back home and I'd run into one of these hicks, they'd say I wasn't a "real Tennessean" just because I was born out of state. I hope Coach Martin does well at Cal. I love my home state, but I'd rather live in Berkeley, CA than Knoxville any day. These are the same dumb fukks who were just wanting him fired not too long ago, and who bytched about Butch Jones when he was hired, because he's originally from Michigan. I had to tell this hick ass dude that Nick Saban and Les Miles are also from Michigan. fukking hate the South sometimes...

Hold up now :ufdup:.....I see what you're saying, and I'm with you....kinda, but that's a hick ass school out in East Tennessee. My high school was nothing like that. Those folks in East Tennessee are a different breed. Funny coincidence at that being in the same town where the Scopes Monkey Trial took place.

Huh? You talking about when he was in school, or now? Because getting Tee Martin on staff was one of Butch Jones's first priorities when he got hired. Tee spurned his alma mater for USC.
