Curious, do you have this much trouble asking a girl out on a date?

LOL @ feelings of requited love, and having a fear of rejection being products of the "social media" age....What you think hundreds of years of poetry, literature, and all the songs about rejection and heartbreak have been about? Nobody wants to be embarrassed or rejected --- thats the human experience. Some people handle it better than others. Natural human emotions were not invented in 2008, lol

If anything, social media might help since boys have more consistent contact with girls....besides, I didnt think there was anything really wrong with the cats in the video. Some were a lil nervous. So what? Not eybody iceberg slim.

Reading comprehension....do you have it?

Read what I wrote. I never spoke about social media being the cause of requited love, fear of rejection, etc. You said that, not me. I was strictly speaking on body language, tone of voice, confidence. These dudes look defeated before they even asked the chick out, when in reality all you're fukking doing is talking to another person. It's not hard. My generation is so used to texting, facebooking, & tweeting people that the art of being verbally skilled and quick-witted in person is dying out.

That's what I meant by social media causing people to be socially retarded.

And social media doesn't help 'em...it hurts them. If you're afraid of talking to a chick in person...what makes you think hiding behind a computer or phone and talking to them is going to help you? Real life interactions are the ones people should value most, but this new generation doesn't. I'd rather be able to talk to a girl once a week in person than be able to text/facebook them every day. It's not about consistent contact...it's about quality contact. Remember that.

You think the phenomenon of males being nervous when asking a girl out is some sort of new thing? Its a natural and normal physiological reaction...it has nothing to do with "social media"

It's always been there, but not as prevalent as my generation dude. The more you do it, the more comfortable you are doing it. It's not that hard. When you hide behind a computer or cellphone all day you're not building your skills and pushing your comfort zone in real life. Like, do I really have to explain this? :what:

Exactly, and it has nothing to do with experience. I lost my virginity before I hit high school but I still get that same queasy feeling when I'm going to ask a girl out. :yeshrug:

Its normal. Everyone is. It would be abnormal if you werent nervous. Some people are just better at the suppression of the outward signs of their anxiousness --- but its there for everyone of course. You'd be a sociopath otherwise.

TBH practice does make perfect, in this case. I used to be like these guys until I just hit on everything in sight until I lost my fear of rejection.

@Kind Gentleman
@AquaCityBoy
@Mephistopheles

What does it feel like? :ohhh: How does it feel like relating to these modern men? :ohhh: What is the feeling of being a massive spineless fakkit? The public needs to know. :ohhh:

Why are you acting like you'd fare any better than them? It's especially pathetic since all the girls you talk to are under 13, you weirdo pedophile suicidal virgin fakkit.

Please don't tag me again, btw.

I respect that, but for me there is still a pullback. And it's not about lack of experience, but rejection affects everybody even if to differing levels :yeshrug:
