Def my favorite Spitta project in a minute. Alchemist...what can you say at this point. Love how he laced Spitta with exactly what he needs. Mixture of that sleazy yacht rock shyt with some psychedelic beats too. Only thing missing is the harder rock stuff from Covert Coup. I miss that sound, but still this is a worthy album that lives up to the promise of Covert Coup.

It’s like you said earlier this is the type of album people were looking for them to make…smooth jazzy samples and spaced out elevator music, this is Spitta and Alchemist at the peak of their respective styles

Glad you're open minded on it. I used to think he as super mid too. And I mean his music isn't for everyone, that's for sure. You may listen and still not walk away a fan. Recently I've been capeing for him a little bit on here when I see the specific critique that he's not a dope emcee. Props for keeping an open mind. Listen to the pictures he paints with his storytelling too on 300 Fences and Speed Trap.

Re: Larry June, there's a thread on here called Larry June raps like your washed up uncle. With Larry I legit would never call him a great rapper or anything. But a lot of people have fun listening to his music and his overall vibe.
