I lowkey want to submit alchemist obscure songs for him to sample/flip but I think he prefers vinyl over CDQ like every other 'purist' producer
his 2012-13 output was insane -- the best beats for those years was essentially his shyt...he put down so much groundwork for other producers to re-sample later...
Alchemist needs to step up his A&R producer role and forge collabos like Curren$y X Nas...a lot of these first time collabos paired with great production would break the internet
You can def see his mindset has shifted in recent years and he's all-in on the business side. Vinyl sales, artwork, clothes...he's def building the brand right now, moreso than a decade ago. There's a lot of money to be made here. Not necessarily millions of dollars but look at the Alfredo album.
I think part of this is the influence/presence of Hip Hop, ie Joshua Kyambo. And we know he worked closely with Nas and A&R'd that Nas Album Done project that we never got. Hip Hop said the very first place he brought Nas was to Alchemist's house/studio. Could Nas/Alch be the secret project Nas alluded to? I def think it's possible. And
@TheDarceKnight said Nas and Alch got a few records recorded in the last couple years.
