Yeah, it took more than a week, but now that I'm removed from the hype and Spitta comparing it to Covert Coup, I fukk with this. This is one of those albums that slides in under the radar. Real smooth. By Alc's own admission it's not his best piece of work, but it highlights Spitta with what is arguably his best bag of lyrics that I've heard yet.

I done ran it 3-4 times. Today was a day that actually matched the mood of album. Rainy day out, had to drive slow. It’s like French toast with eggs and Turkey sausage with a glass of your preferred drink.
Before today I was highly upset about this project as a day one lmfaoooo
Some skips for me though I do understand the theme and when I consider how they’re older, it just goes with the flow.
If you really dive in to concepts this is continuance of reign not attempting to reign (such as CC was). So it’s kinda like having a real king that’s taking care of his people and not a tyrant or unstable ruler. When he deal out punishment it’s in a i tried my best with you fashion and not a I’m dropping nuts on you just cause I can fashion.
The slow methodical, nearly cerebral approach makes the idea of the album that much better when you use this logic.
I do wish Alchemist went harder with production far as going from one track to another.
I can’t decide if songs are skippable or if I just wanna hear the songs I really fukk with, those being more aggressive.

Right now I'd be fine if they removed Jodeci Tape or Endurance Runners at the end. At one point I think Final Board was set to be the final track on the album, and it kind of sounds like it to me, but Kool and the Gang is perfect.
I just think all 5 songs after Signature Move have a very similar mellow energy and very similar tempo. I'd wouldn't mind if they just cut 1 or 2 out that sequence to trim the fat a little bit (which to me out of those 5 songs IMO are Jodeci Tape and Endurance Runners). They aren't bad songs by any means but they make the project drag a little bit at the end. I like the idea of going straight from Final Board to Kool and the Gang.

That’s exactly what I did. Hit grocery store picked up foods and I found myself just sitting back and listening when I would park. Alc just dropped a new joint with Kool G Rap that I think Spitta would've sounded dope on
was my go to album during my quick to trip to Milano.
I've only listened to this in full each time so I'm not familiar with the names etc.. but there was only one song I wasn't fukkin with
and I would've swapped Styles and Wiz on those songs just because Wiz, even though I liked his verse sounded weird after Spitta and Hav on that beat.
