was my go to album during my quick to trip to Milano.

I've only listened to this in full each time so I'm not familiar with the names etc.. but there was only one song I wasn't fukkin with
and I would've swapped Styles and Wiz on those songs just because Wiz, even though I liked his verse sounded weird after Spitta and Hav on that beat.

now to dig into this Conway album
Agreed on the Wiz joint. I love this shyt too. Hope you enjoy the Conway album.

I wanna love this project but I only like it. I felt like Alc's production was a bit uninspired tbh. This felt like a Spitta project I heard before as opposed to their other projects which are more jarring. I like the stuff he's been giving to Boldy; I'd like to hear Spitta on more of that type of sound.

There's like 3 or 3 beats on here that sound like they are straight off the tecmo bo album breh. Hell, boldy's on this

How many days you been playing it?

I ask because I heard so much hype leading up the 18th and then I totally forgot about it until last Sunday lol

There's a few, but overall I agree with @WhoShotCha that most of the production on Tecmo and Jackson has a different feel than this. A lot of Continuance is breezy and yacht rock-ish almost.

No Yeast with Boldy doesn't really remind me of a typical BoldChemist joint. There's a few on here I can hear though...Obsession, Signature Move, Corvette Rally Stripes...Reese's Cup...yeah I won't argue with you on that the more I think of it.

Overall I thought Tecmo had a heavier sound to it than this though.

Definitely more than a few joints that sound like Tecmo. Including the ones you said, the first half of Final Board feels ripped right out of the Boldy catalog, and even tho Jodeci Tape is a little more vibrant the drums are straight from that handbook as well.

If there's anything that feels like it's missing, I don't think it's the beats themselves, it's spitta. I think he's rapping his ass off but I think he's not doing a good job of making these songs feel like songs. I don't think this album has a single hook on it. It's just verses, and a lot of it is just nonstop bars, no time to let anything sink in either, just bar after bar hitting your ear.

I like it, but it's missing a lot of elements people liked about covert coup.

I will say I really did miss not hearing many hooks on this. It's one of Spittas greatest strengths at that.

I think only The Final Board had one. Which also seemed like that was supposed to be the closing track.

I thought Jodeci Tape needed something more. I still love this project nonetheless.
