Same here. I usually think Spitta has about the same level of bars from project to project, but I thought OutRunners was a level up. Gold and Chrome is maybe in my top 3 songs for the year.Just listened for the first time a few days back. Had it on repeat ever since
Immediate reaction is this is up there with Alfredo and King's Disease for my favorite release this year. Spitta locked in, production is ridiculous.
And less than 12 hours awayThought and assumed it would be like 4 tops![]()

In terms of other dope albums, have you checked out Price of Tea in China, Reasonable Drought, As God Intended, or From King to a God? Those are all great contenders too.
I think you'll like God Intended breh. I was blown away how much I liked it.All except As God Intended. Will check it out though. Thanks for mentioning
Tea in China was really 2020? Man, this has been a long year![]()
Reminds me of when Rick Ross just exploded with Talent on Deeper Than RapJIm Jones improved on every album he released
Thats Dom Kennedy for me.Yo, at this point I don't understand anyone that doesn't at least respect Spitta. Even if he ain't your cup of tea, the dude is at the top of his game for the lane he's in. Mad creative. No one rapping like he does. He's not on some spiritual-miracle shyt but he can teleport you to another zone and paint a picture, which us arguably the most impressive thing an emcee can do.
And as far as a good ear goes, I think he might be top 10 of all time. He knows exactly what he sounds best on and how to push the boundaries a little bit, without getting too far out there.
