Curren$y has been promoting his successful Jet Life brand for some time through his music and clothing. The brand’s designs usually focus on a form of planes or cars, as the emcee has a knack for automobiles, which he’s shown off through social media, as well as his ‘Raps & Lowriders’ series on YouTube.

Since then, one fan took to Instagram to speak on Jet Life and the similarities of Roc Nation’s paper plane hat to Jet Life’s logo. The fan said, “I just realized that the Paper Plane fitted hats came after Jet Life…”

Curren$y responded to the comment, saying: “yeah… Lot of s*** came after the Life was established. It’s cool tho.”

Spitta is my guy, but the Roc Nation logo pre-dates Jet-Life by a ridiculous amount of years.

When Roc Nation started and had the logo, Spitta wasn't even doing his thing with Dame and DD172 yet. His logo wasn't even made until he got the Warner deal. Which was around 2011. The Roc Nation logo was made in 2007. When Ski was working with Spitta at DD172 around 2010, he was shopping around with designers for the logo. Emory had already worked on the RN logo years before and had merch with the logos on them being sold.

He's weird AF for this one.

I wanna see examples of the Paper Planes logo being used in 07 and before Spitta shyt. Roc Nation wasn’t even really established like that until about 09. Cole was their first artist and BP3 feature was basically Cole’s introduction to the world outside of his mixtapes. In 09 Spitta dropped This Ain’t No Mixtape and was on that Jet Life shyt heavy already. Cause he also dropped How Fly with Wiz and Jet Files. shyt Jay ain’t even file the trademark for the Paper Planes logo until 2018.

Fly Society pre-dates 2008 cause TK strong armed him out of the name and logos in 2008, then $pitta re-branded with JET$ (Just Enjoy This $hit) label and movement, he did a paper plane collab back then with a upcoming streetwear brand, I remember this cuz Wiz did a collab with KRSP too

And then he went on to make Jet Life brand
