Fly Society pre-dates 2008 cause TK strong armed him out of the name and logos in 2008, then $pitta re-branded with JET$ (Just Enjoy This $hit) label and movement, he did a paper plane collab back then with a upcoming streetwear brand, I remember this cuz Wiz did a collab with KRSP too

And then he went on to make Jet Life brand
But RocNation and Paper Planes are two different brands, especially early on, it looks like you got some insider info, you got proof Emory made the Paper planes logo back in 07? That’s the big question here that @spliz was getting at too. I don’t remember Emory and them with that logo in 07, I could be wrong though. This is true. TK was my guy before all of the crazy sh*t that happened with him. He was always around us and Spitta back then. But he definitely strong-armed Spitta with the whole Fly Society thing. I think Spitta was scared of him, lol.
When Warner approached him to sign, he had to get a logo for Jet-Life. There was a dude named Blasta who used to do logos for Atlantic artists, who came in and showed us all these mockups. Spitta didn't like any of them. This was 2011. He ended up picking a logo a little after that.
Emory and Jay had the RN logo back in 2007 and initially shared the rights to it with a company called Iconix, who later sued because they said they bought it outright from Hov in '07 for like $200 million and retained full rights over it, even though Jay was using it in partnerships with MLB and other places for the merch. So he was doing deals with the logo and licensing it out way before Spitta even had the company or the logo for his joint. So I'm not sure why he's saying what he is. He didn't even have a logo when this was going on.
This nikka conflating the 2 when they aren’t even the same thing. RocNation/Paper Planes aren’t the same thing. And don’t have the same logo. I ain’t seen that paper planes logo NOWHERE in 07. And I live in NYC and was still living in Brooklyn around that time. Whatever inside info this nikka think he got. Curren$y was in the industry for real so I doubt the nikka would speak on some shyt like that he don’t know about. But RocNation and Paper Planes are two different brands, especially early on, it looks like you got some insider info, you got proof Emory made the Paper planes logo back in 07? he doesnt need that relationship at all. he's carved out his own path and where he wanna be on his own terms. fukk jayArtist have to be smarter when you know internet haters are just trying to trick you into some unnecessary drama.
Is a potential strong relationship less important than a logo or a clothing brand that most of the world has never seen![]()

How you going to be in business and not need relationships? It’s counterproductive to think that way but even then, If you think your logo was sharked, there’s absolutely nothing, I mean NOTHING stopping you from handling it with lawyers.he doesnt need that relationship at all. he's carved out his own path and where he wanna be on his own terms. fukk jay
Spitta is my guy, but the Roc Nation logo pre-dates Jet-Life by a ridiculous amount of years.
When Roc Nation started and had the logo, Spitta wasn't even doing his thing with Dame and DD172 yet. His logo wasn't even made until he got the Warner deal. Which was around 2011. The Roc Nation logo was made in 2007. When Ski was working with Spitta at DD172 around 2010, he was shopping around with designers for the logo. Emory had already worked on the RN logo years before and had merch with the logos on them being sold.
He's weird AF for this one.

If you don’t feel it’s important enough to handle through the legal system what’s the point of insinuating that one of the most successful individuals stole your design.
U got some info to refute it? Show me. Spitta one of the most important underground figures in the industry for over a decade.Man please![]()
