It's not about systems or shooters...prime Jimmy could get to his spot and elevate. That's was his game...either getting into that midrange and rising up or slashing to the hole and drawing fouls. His bounce is clearly not close to what it was.

Jimmy turned back the clock last game...but bro is old. He didn't even play that many games in the regular season and it's clear the playoff grind has worn him down.

Playing every other day when you're going on 36?

Some of yall need to be real.

Steph is guarded infinitely more closer and with more players than Jimmy is.

It's not the same.

Jimmy has been defended 1v1 for most of this series and he hasn't been aggressive when the team needs him to be. The elbows have been open for him to shoot over these last two games, but he's turned those opportunities down, only to drive into the paint and then not even look to score. Nobody should be expecting him to play like he's 28 again, but there has to be a certain level of expectation of him to be aggressive to help this team win, and he simply hasn't met that.

He's only attempted 1 shot outside of 14-ft in this game.

Yeah, maybe GS were never going to win this game, regardless, but they had 0% chance of winning with this passive version of him.
Dude it's not the exact same, but it pretty much the same result. There were times in the reg season, steph wasn't smothered, he just wasnt aggressive. He was trying to get his other 4 guys on the court involved.

We agree on the overall point. We are just arguing semantics. Jimmy and JK playing this brand of basketball just isn't gonna win us games. we barely scored 100 points, and didn't score that when the main lineup was in the game tonight. It's mediocre offense trying to win games. We're a worse version of the Grit and Grind grizzlies.

REMINDER

WARRIORS MISSED THE PLAYOFFS
LAST YEAR
AND WERENT IN THE PLAY IN
THIS YEAR BEFORE JIMMY ARRIVED.

THIS WHOLE RUN WAS
PREDICATED ON JIMMY
AND STEPH PLAYING TOGETHER
AND MAKING EACH OTHERS
LIVES EASIER

yep, just not enough talent for either to function well without each other. Too many guys like Podz on the roster with zero offensive skills

EXACTLY

wtf were people expecting. Jimmy AND Steph need to play. Not just one guy. We saw what that was like. They were out of the play-in picture before Jimmy. BOTH NEED TO PLAY. Kuminga with his 23points ZERO rebounds and 1 assist isn't even close to an adequate replacement.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. DO NOT PLAY STEPH CURRY DOWN 3-1. THE SERIES IS DONE. DO NOT RUSH STEPH BACK TO TRY AND WIN THREE STRAIGHT GAMES AFTER GETTING A HAMSTRING INJURY. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. THIS shyt IS OVER. MAKE ADQUATE MOVES IN THE OFFSEASON TO BE A COMPETITIVE TEAM NEXT SEASON. GET A fukkING DEAL DONE NEXT SEASON

Do we expect these older players to look like bron at 36 or Pat Ewing at 36. I think Bron gave us unfair exoectations on how to gauge older players
