All I know is he affects the geometry of the court by finishing at the rim. Steph has no other big on the roster that can do that for him.
He constantly breaks scoring droughts and he's solid on defense. He should be playing
If GS had normal spacing, he probably would see the floor more, but you can't run a frontline with him, Dray and Jimmy. There's zero spacing there. Jimmy, especially, needs spacing at this point of his career because he can't generate offense like he used to. If you put two bigs alongside him that don't stretch the floor, you only make him less effective.

JIMMY WAS LOOKING GREAT
UNTIL HE GOT HURT....
OR DID YALL FORGET HES PLAYING HURT?

Looking great with Steph playing. He can’t carry a team this offensively challenged at this age and like you said he’s hurt as well.

NO ONE CAN CARRY A TEAM
THIS OFFENSIVELY CHALLENGED.

THEY WERENT EVEN IN
THE PLAY IN BEFORE JIMMY
GOT THERE AND MISSED THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR.

IT WAS ALREADY STATED BEFORE
THE PLAYOFFS STARTED THAT
JIMMY AND STEPH WERE GOING
TO HAVE TO DO AN AMAZING CARRY JOB.

THIS GAME WAS STILL
THERE IF KERR DIDNT
PLAY THAT BUM LINE UP
IN BOTH HALVES BECAUSE
THE WARRIORS STILL HAVE
A GOOD DEFENSE WITH JIMMY/DRAY
ON THE FLOOR

Jimmy is a good player because he's extremely smart and savvy. He calls himself a Robin because he knows he can't physically take over a game anymore if he doesn't have a size advantage to do so.

Still a very good player

He should come off the bench with QP. QP needs to play stretch 4. TJD center. Their size in zones would be adequate enough to slow opposing benches down.
The inside outside of both would help score some points. Jimmy and JK can both play off them when one is resting and other being the main hub

Kerr just mentioned TJD played because scoring was needed
