Podz and Kuminga play two different positions and have completely different roles for the team.

It's not the same.

Jimmy needs spacing, and because Dray needs spacing to be effective too, it's hard to work Kuminga into that given he can't shoot. Trading for Jimmy really made Kuminga's value to the team expendable.

And Podz plays largely because he's not a negative on defense whereas Kuminga doesn't defend or rebound.
