It has everything to do with Steph not being on the floor.

If he was playing, GS would be dominating/controlling the games more often than not, and that would mean less time and opportunities for Minny to enforce their will on the contest. Minny has had the luxury in these last two games to make mistakes on offense because when they do inevitably go on runs, GS has little to no chance to match them.

These low-scoring, low-efficiency games are the perfect disguise for someone like Julius to hide the fact he relies on getting away with excessive contact (push-offs, dropping his shoulder and pushing through his defender etc) to generate offense because he has minimal skill and game awareness. It's why the officials are letting him get away with a whole lot of shyt because that's been the nature of how these games have unfolded.

If he puts up a wild shot or throws an errant pass, it doesn't really matter, because GS can't come down the other end of the floor and take advantage of it.

All he's been doing in this series is recklessly driving into the lane, and when he has no option to get a shot off, he throws the ball out for one of his teammates to bail him out.

That's been his game since he came into the league. And it hasn't changed.
Steph isn’t a good defensive player. I wasn’t talking about who would win or anything. I told you Randle was cooking and has been all playoffs. Win or lose. I said nothing about who would win

He just scored 19 in a quarter on y’all . Lol

I just outlined to you that it's not about Steph's defense, it's how GS can control the games.

Steph covers up the fact they have a non-existent frontcourt, purely for what he can do and how they harness him on offense which allows them to dictate play. Not only from a strategic standpoint, but Minny can rest on defense knowing they don't have to chase him all over the floor, and then have to recover after chasing him to guard his teammates who're left open (which affects how much energy they have on offense).

Minny can do what they want, when they want, because there's no consequences for them at the other end. They've essentially had two series' where they've played significantly handicapped teams - Lakers had no frontcourt and the Warriors don't have one.

Julius wouldn't be doing shyt if Steph was playing. The only player that would have a chance at shifting the tide would be Ant.

We saw what happened in the first half of Game 1 when Minny was knee deep in the shyt and nobody looked comfortable on offense.

You're Grizzlies fan who switched to being a Rockets fan and you were running all about talking how they were going to beat GS.

You a whole hoe who doesn't know how to take a L.

You've spent the last decade hating on the Warriors, saying they were nothing but a gimmick team back in 2015 who wouldn't last long. Four championships and 10 years later they're still making you look like a fool.

It's just the reality of the matter.

Any big could/should be eating against this GS squad. Steph and the system covers up a whole lot of roster imbalances. They're literally out here with a big man rotation of the corpse of Looney and TJD. Then you've got broken ass Jimmy who's completely gassed trying to hold the offense together, and he doesn't have anything left to give on defense.

Draymond is essentially the only valuable defensive piece they have in this series, and at 35 years old, he can't do everything.

Minny is just far too big and deep across the rotation that they're exposing the fundamental issues with the Warriors.

Warriors lost their best player of course this was Timberwolves series to win.

The 2nd round had so much promise and it sucks if 3 series will end in 5 games. Oh well...

If OKC stop being so damn shook on offense and beat Denver, they got easy road to the finals as they have guards to defend Ant man and deep bench to challenge Minnesota's good bench
