I just finished watching the Child's Play/Chucky series and this one was damn good. It definitely deserved better than a straight to DVD release.

It had that Indie feel to it.. something was missing.

It wasn't as shytty as I thought it would be but it wasn't all that good either.
But I have never been the biggest fan of this franchise to begin with. Always thought that the idea of people being terrorized by a 3 foot doll was dumb as fukk.

It sounds ridiculous on paper but the added element of innocent people being blamed for these gruesome crimes adds to the creepiness. Plus the personality of the Chucky character makes the idea work.
