What is scary about that? People in here are saying black "people" body wide can be racist. A lone bigot is a lone bigot. Racism in its practice has always tied itself to a collective of people. And blacks have never demonstrated they are active participants in collusion of one another to be racist towards a swath of whites.

We don't share that

I don't think it has to be systematic or oppressive in nature to be racist.

In today's America, a black family is free to settle in Idaho and get a job and use public facilities like everyone else but the general population may never welcome them and may see them as lesser than a white family that lives next door. I don't know how to view that as anything other than racism. Especially since many of them would have vetoed the family's home purchase if it was legal to do so.

Who cares about the meaning of the word? The meaning of words change over time, and amongst different communities.

What does matter is the system of racial oppression in this country, and how that effects lives.
