Its funny how people ignore actual conspiracies like this and instead focus their attention on dumb shyt like chemtraills and vaccines.
Tech billionaires wanting to become the new monarchs seems outlandish but their intent is out there in the open. Most of society won't catch on to their plans until its too late. I don't think they'll ultimately succeed though. The 'network states' they hope to create will end in chaos.
And its because they have a fundamental misunderstanding of how society works. It really shows when you hear them speak on topics outside of tech. They are totally blindsided by their false sense of superiority. Only a society as hyper individualistic and narcissistic as ours could produce such people.
My fear is that they'll succeed in destroying democracy and make this country into a libertarian hellscape. Poverty will shoot through the roof. Social safety nets will be greatly diminished. And societal breakdown will spiral to the point its uncontrollable by anyone.
