Its very obvious in this universe there are no bad or good guys. Everything is a grey area

Idris at the least has a faint code of morality which is wayyyyyyyy more than most of the people you run into in night city :dead:

ARs and SMGs are boring.

I think pure shotguns or handgun builds are the best and most fun with my limited experience. My current build is fully fledge shotgun, though I can also use heavy weapons too. My next build I'm going full sniper and net runner + stealth
Smart SMGs are absolutely ridiculous when you max out the reflex and intelligence trees. Can clear a room in seconds with the prototype shingen/Yinglong combo.

I've been wondering which tree to max next. I'm not interested in playing with any other weapons besides Smart Weapons Katana and Knife. Those 3 combo make me feel like a well-balanced cyborg ninja. I play this game the same way I did Metal Gear Rising.

I'm not doing any other playthroughs with another build. I'm satisfied with what I have now even if I only maxed out one tree. It's dope you have all these options and shyt but not everything's for me. I use a cyberdeck and hack shyt as well. I tried Sandevistan and didn't like that I couldn't hack shyt like I used to. I'm good enough to not need slo-motion.

Your default cyberdeckn (praline) synergizes really well with smart weapons. My last corpo build was a deck with the two SMGs (submachine fun, ftw) and monowire.

I still think they could have nerfed tech weapons more. Breakthrough and ping make the game trivial.

Ping, especially upgraded, made Recon grenades limited to only spots you can't find a machine or enemy to ping off of and non-cyber deck builds. It even gives that 25% bonus to smart weapon lock on time.

There are a host of OP skills in the game but I feel like Ping is just too trivial since no enemies block it and they're never alerted.

Just commenting more. The story and world, at least as a nomad, is one that I rock with, that resonates with me. As an open world game, I find this to be more impressive than Rockstar's best. I like damn near every mission, the dialogue between the characters is great. I'm glad I jumped in when they sorted out the issues but damn, this is an all-timer.
296 hours in, based on what Steam is telling me. It's a top ten game of all time for me. I'm glad I waited this long to play it. I could have beaten this eons ago. Ever play a game and it impresses you to the point that you don't want to leave the world? Yeah, it's this game, right on the back of Expedition 33. Two all-timers, back to back. I've done literally every mission for every fixer, save for one more in the dlc. I'm too OP to really get killed. I've not finished the final story yet, when I got to the mission that said it'd lock me in till the end of the game, I set out originally to just get stronger, that snowballed into doing every possible mission the game had to offer. I'm glad I did. Night City is such an impressive city. The missions have had enough variety to keep me entertained thoroughly. I couldn't recommend this game enough. Damn near perfect.

Made two characters both up to the lock in mission and still haven't done it :francis:

Phantom Liberty helped give me extra stuff to do
