They kept credibility because they really Bloods and were G'd up and connected. Cube is a rapper.

Ive heard that too but then why didnt they give him the fade or there peoples like solo did...

oh, you must not really know what went down huh.....

:obama:

Solo gave him a beat down and gave his chain to B Real who posted pics that wound up on magazine covers...

I heard about something with Sen and Cube but no details...

Not to get off topic, but it's somewhat related because Muggs did production for them, who remembers Funkdoobiest? I think their first 2 albums, especially the 2nd one, is underrated

i remember hearing that one intro/skit off their debut w/ that dope ass beat that only lasts like 30-40 seconds and replayed it like 10 times in a row. later on brotha lynch went on to rip that same sample on nikka deep:banderas: pretty sure andre nickatina used it at one point too.

Temples of Boom is a masterpiece

Yup. Their best album IMO. Temples of Boom is in my top 5 favourite albums ever. Any genre.

I liked IV too, I considered it a classic cause it still had that dark, Cypress vibe.

And daps for those who mentioned The Beatnuts. Very, very underrated producers. Almost all their beats bang hard and make you wanna get up and start busting moves. They just make amazing music.

These guys were part of the west coast people that transcended coastal music. Gone are the days of shyt like this on MTV.
