Muthafukkaz back in the day used to be like "What about dude with the funny voice......La la la la la la la look at all of them funeral cars......That shyt is raw!" :russ:

Muggs was a fool, the hook on that shyt :banderas:

Bruh, that Cypress Hill, nikkaz4Life, and Straight Checkin Em dropped around the same time......MAINSTREAM muthafukkin radio play in Cali, Cube went on and dropped one off the greatest rap albums ever a couple months later, Original Gangster earlier that year, DJ Quik, If you was into rap back then, that year was Christmas to west coast nikkaz.

After Rap Superstar they went too far off into that rap rock shyt and became seen as a parody of themselves with all the weed songs. the beats are dope but i could never listen to B Real for a whole album.

I've always heard Alchemist was ghost producing on Temples Of Boom.
This is off IV but theres no way that Al DIDNT ghost-produce this. Its straight outta Al's playbook and Muggs never really did anything similar since

I agree with the bolded.

This was my favourite track on Skull & Bones but most the album was trash to me. IV was the last great Cypress Hill album.

^^^ could be but Muggs has his stank on that too. They were probably both there.

IV had some moments on it. All downhill after that

IV was the 1st Cypress album I bought back in '98 and I loved it. I still consider it a classic, but its the weakest out of all the classic albums.

The skits that were popping up all over the album about the 2 Mexicans trying to cop weed from the white guy were hilarious. The white guy was voiced by Tommy Chong. In the end after waiting all day they get ripped off. They paid for a whole ounce and the guy brings them a few seeds. Saying look, you grow it! Its 50 pounds!

Then the Mexicans get pissed and say he smoked our shyt! They try to beat him up but he drives away.

i remember hearing that one intro/skit off their debut w/ that dope ass beat that only lasts like 30-40 seconds and replayed it like 10 times in a row. later on brotha lynch went on to rip that same sample on nikka deep:banderas: pretty sure andre nickatina used it at one point too.

They really are, but I think they've finally begun to get their due these days because I've been seeing them get brought up pretty often in music discussions. They're a great hip-hop group for people who don't generally like hip-hop.

temples of boom one of the grimiest hip hop albums ever...one of the most perfect albums to smoke weed to :banderas:boom biddy bye bye :banderas:

Yup. One of the greatest stoner albums.

"Once again the powers of the herb open up the mind. Seek deep inside. Tell me what you find".

Spark Another Owl is my shyt. The whole album is amazing.

Yeah, you get a lot of kids that don't listen to hip hop at all bigging up Cypress.
