That lucky shot. Dude literally just threw it up. No skill whatsoever. But I'll let ya'll cook. :yeshrug:
the shot wasnt lucky at all. he didnt "just throw it up." watch it again, and watch him time that side step perfectly. he was off balance because he got slightly bumped and due to the fact he's left handed vs just going up with his right.

Byron Scott just look so surprised that his self sabotage failed
wrong. it actually worked. go find that post game when they asked russell about being benched and how he and randle after that point just stop caring about time, when they will play, who's talking bad about them in the media, etc. They just stop caring which help them relax and play completely loose.

But yall thought bscott didnt know what he was talking about. Yes he did. He forced a guy that people were crying about not being aggressive enough. to become aggressive. scott pissed him off and made him let it go and let it all hang out. and then you saw a glimpse of the real Russ.

the rest of yall are so use to watching great players are terrible teams. that you think the only way to bring up a rook or youngin is to throw him out there for 40 mins per for 82 games straight. thats not THEE only way to pull it off. you can bring them along slowly. and build them up little by little. while plugging the holes in their games along the way.

Benching Russel to make him aggressive? Sure, that's a strategy I can co-sign.
Benching Randle who is a beast on the glass? Thats more ehh territory, but sure, why not.
Giving Kobe the green light and saying his shots are one they'll have to live with when they have three young players that have shown they can ball? That is foh worthy
Benching Russel for Lou Williams in general? Foh worthy

Maybe I'm not giving him enough credit but you damn sure are giving him too much.

The kobe stuff is coming from the front office. what part of that dont yall get? Kobe and his 5 rings X amt of finals appearances. dragging kwame, smush, brian cook and the likes into the playoffs in the western conf. dropping 81, 62 in 3, etc, etc, etc . playing with all those crazy injuries 99.9% of most nba players HAVE and would sit out for. walking to the FT line after he blew out his achilles once again dragging the lakers into the playoffs. yeah, kobe gets special treatment friend. and thats from the front office down.

There has never been a player like him and may never be a player like him again. not even mike or magic played thru that many types of injuries. and i think magic and mike could be above him as in GOAT status.

No one that was as good as he was has given their everything to the game like he has. NO ONE.

And for the record. kobe chucking like a mad man ISNT To their detriment either.
for multiple reasons:
1. this is something kobe himself was talking about in general in one of his interviews. Out of his own mouth he said he wants to teach kids(in general, not just his teammates) to forget about the last shot they've taken. meaning, stop losing confidence just because you bricked the last shot or the last 3. always have the same confidence in your ability/game. obviously thats in addition with your work ethic. if you work on your game like crazy. believe in yourself. This is the main reason most nba players that are decent are not very good players. its because they get super high when they are hot but get super low when they're missing(i.e. Nick Young.) This is how you have the confidence to take and make the last shot.

2.it also teaches these guys not to care about what others think about them. If you have the ultimate confidence in your work ethic and abilities. Do you. the hell with the media and fans.

3. Always be aggressive. never be passive. notice how guys are still guarding brick fest old man broken down kobe. why guard that guy at this point in his career? because the defense is afraid he may go off. STILL. evne though he doesnt really have it in him. they are still afraid. Thats because he puts pressure on the defense by chucking like crazy. they are afraid "one of these shots are going in and if 2 goes in uh oh..."

The defense still shifts with kobe's movement as if he isnt the worst guard in the nba right now. still aggressive, still making the defense move. this is a learning tool for the youngins. just because some of yall dont understand the game at such a high degree doesnt mean what scott and kobe are doing is incorrect.

I understand where you are coming from(I disagree about guarding kobe I think they guard kobe because it is their job to guard Kobe) but answer honestly. From what you've seen this far from B.Scott do you want him as your future coach?
