Wade's been matched up great floppin' this postseason to counteract his flopping nature.

But he's always prevailed.

:lupe:

Marco
Stephenson

Now potentially Manu...

Should be one for the ages and the history book for the Art of Flopping between those two.

Lol, Wade is one of the greatest SGs of all time, don't be ridiculous.

And thats no disrespect to Manu but Manu has never been on Wade's level. Even if Wade is playing a little :flabbynsick: right now. I think he's battling some injuries.

"Leading" your team to a 15 win season ain't what all-time great players do tho :mjpls2:

They're hard to compare because Wade is a scoring 2 and Manu is basically a PG right now. When he comes in, he's looking to distribute and he's doing it well. His scoring though :flabbynsick:

And how many SGs have done that as a #1 option in NBA history?

I'll wait.

35 ppg, 8 rpg, 4 apg, 3 spg through 6 games in the 06' Finals :lolbron:

haha I KNEW you'd mention your first line cause I was going to say he's actually one of 3 SG's that's ever lead their team to a title (MJ and Kobe being the other two)

Haha, and that's why you threw in that edit :heh:

Its all good. Wade has been a little :flabbynsick: this playoffs but to be fair, the offense hasn't been run through him at all. I often see Wade standing around while Lebron goes through 2-3 players and kicks it out to one of the shooters or goes to the hoop. If they're going to beat the Spurs, Spo needs to get the ball in Wade's hands a little more. Bron aint beating the Spurs by himself.

Manu never got to be on shyty Teams like Wade, not to mention him being stuck as a six man most of the time, who knows what he does eslewhere

career wise it's wade and it's not even close...

Right now, and prob the rest of there careers, it's manu and it is not even close...

You can run an an entire offense through manu...he can be your primary ball handler, he can be the guy coming off screens to get an open shot, he can be the guy cutting to the basket to finish. His shooting has been horrible, he has made just some straight up moronic decisions...but he has also gone through stretches where he ran the team flawlessly, and let's not act like he can't explode for 20 or more on any giving night...

Wade at this point is a borderline spot up shooter or just diving to the basket off a pick...he's not taking anyone off the dribble and his passing is not crisp enough to run your offense through him...

Really though it is a hard comparison because they are two different players doing two different things... Wade just had to eat off whatever scraps bron throws his way at this point....Manu is having to run a very sophisticated motion offense anytime parker goes to the bench, or anytime they run those gamut of screens for parker.

Which is why the comparisons to Wade are a little silly.

He could have gone to another team and continued being a sixth man or he could have been an average #2 option or a great #1 option. That's something we'll never know. We do know Wade has two championships and a finals MVP and has been one of the greatest shooting guards of all time though.

What do you mean you THINK he's been battling injuries? It's been well documented that he's suffering knee problems right now.

Wade is a dirty player who I'm actually starting to really dislike, but he's flat out better player than Manu when he's healthy and it's not even close.

Manu is definitely underrated at times but it balances out with how Spurs fans tend to overrate him.
