If I was a gambler, I'd put money on both Wade and Bosh to have great seasons now that LeBron is gone and the team will be built around them. I expect numbers like 25/11/3 for Bosh and 23/6/6 for Wade with Miami probably finishing as the 4th seed.

man bosh NEVER put up those kinda #'s as the #1 option in toronto even. especially rebounding wise.

Which begs the question why didn't he change his game while Lebron is in tow and championships are in reach? If there were changes to be made wouldn't the last 4 years be the perfect time to do so?
He changed his game massively the last 4 years, which is a large reason his numbers dropped. His game became primarily post game, back door cuts and midrange jumpers off screens. It was really only in 4th quarters that he was bringing ball up court.

You're not consistently scoring 25 playing mostly off ball.

Did you read the post I was responding to? The person I was responding to says he needs to change his game.

For the life of me I will never grasp how when it comes time to for guys to change their games the SG is the one posting and doing back door cuts and the PF is the one posting up behind the 3pt line.

Not sure how this addresses my post. :patrice: My question is why would he wait until Lebron is gone to make these adjustments not whether or not it's too late? If the tools are there why would he just now start making use of them? Since it takes years to integrate new things, why has he wasted the last 4 not integrating anything? Bron went from having 0 postgame to one of the best in the L in less than four years. Wade appears to have gotten worse in pretty much every facet of the game in that same time frame on the same team. If it's all a matter of him deciding to work to change his game and he hasn't done it for 4 years then every Heat fan should be giving him the :stopitslime:.
Saying he gotten worse in every facet of his game is a stretch. I'll admit he lost his explosiveness. His handles isn't as good as it was in his prime, and defensively, he seem to be lazy. Nonetheless, Wade has a crafty footwork to elude his defender. His post has gotten better. Take account that Wade has taken mid-range shots in volume at a efficient rate. Beating his defender with backdoor cuts. He also average less turnovers than ever before in the last three years. and you guys has the nerve to say he is falling off
:comeon: Like I said before all Wade needs to do is trust his shots, shoot the more, and extend his range. Once he get those down pack, the Heat will be in good hands.

He averaged 24 and 10.8 boards in 09-10 his last season in Toronto...it gets brushed aside cuz that team led by him completely choked in the second half of that season...

Of course hes 30 now so to think hes going back to those numbers is a pipe dream, hes stated numerous times he has no interest in the post and banging guys down low...He wont put up those numbers maintaining his Miami jumpshooting fakkit persona...

It was indeed hyperbole however explosion, handles, and defense are pretty integral to Wade's game wouldn't you say?

We can't bemoan him being taken off the ball (not to mention playing fewer minutes) and then act like his drop in TO (a subtle drop I might add) is a result of anything else. He shot the 2nd most shots on the team last year and I am gonna just guess he'll be in the top 2 again this year. If he didn't trust his shots before (why would he not trust his shots) why is he gonna trust them now with more defensive attention, less explosion, and inferior handles? No excuse for him not having extended his range already.

Wade 19/5/3

Bosh 19/8

The interesting for me will be to see if either of them get ASG recognition now that Bron is gone and could be a .500 or sub .500 team...

Wade's Numbers Last year

19ppg
54% fg
14 Shot attempts per game
5.8 Free throw attempts.

His FG% will drop.
His shot attempts will increase.
His Free Throw attempts will increase a lil bit.
His PPG therefore will prolly go up a lil bit
They'll probably still manage his minutes

So anybody saying he'll won't be at least 22 is hating

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
I don't remember Lebron shooting 55+ % in Cleveland
:mjlol: nikkas dont even know that Wade shot a higher % than Lebron every single season up until the year before he went to Miami. Wade was ALWAYS close to 50% every season pre Bron, Bron was a 46-48% nikka, Wade was a 48-49% nikka.
