Ask the Spurs breh, you get the right player, all it takes is one year. We're a team full of "scrappy" players. Put them around somebody substantial and you can start to work shyt out. Instead, we apparently have to pay every above average role player that passes through

Everyone has to embrace a rebuild at some point. This isn't like the NFL where you find Curtis Martin or
or Joe Montana in the third round or where the patriots just stockpile second and third round picks to keep a championship caliber team as long as Brady is healthy. You don't see Ray Lewis or Ed Reed or Randy Moss scenarios where guys like that slip to pick number 20-25 because teams don't need them or think they're too small. We aren't going to find an Aaron Rodgers falling into our lap near the middle or back of the first round. They always go in the first ten picks in the NBA. On rare occasion a team makes a draft day trade like the spurs getting Leonard or the Heat trading for Alonzo. Otherwise it always ends up being 50+ losses and hoping for a high pick that pans out. The odds of avoiding that future are miniscule at best.

Eh, I kinda agree but I'll say three things about this.
1. Dion has absolutely shown to be a 4th round pick in terms of sheer talent and ability. He's only 25 and he can only get better with more experience. It's totally possible that he could love us so much that he takes a smaller deal to help bring back some of our guys.
2. Spo shut everyone of us up who has been shytting on him for 3-4 years. Dude is a great coach who has been dealt some hard hands.
3. It's possible we could pull a Spurs and fleece a Kawhi
Let's have Justise shoot over 40% and actually force teams to guard him from the perimeter before we have him leading us anywhere
If we keeping the same team, we probably not gonna have enough to add pieces unless JJ and Waiters take huge pay cuts. $30 mil between Reed, JJ, and Waiters (Plus any pick you wanna add).
And this is with Bosh and McRoberts (gets him out of here) off the books?
