Used to love this album as a kid. Tried to relisten to it the other day:hhh: shyt aged like Caucasian women in the sun.

I appreciate shyt on you and the instrumental being on this though:ehh:
:russ:

That’s funny cuz that’s EXACTLY how I feel about their sophomore album “D-12 World.”

That album did not age well at all :hhh:

They were trying WAAAY too hard to fit in with the trends at the time and be their version of “mainstream.”

I know it was around the time Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit were at their peak success wise. And i do remember it was around that period where Em was trying to be gangsta when he was rocking them durags :scust:

Looking back on it…it was…awkward :francis:

Y’all remember their version of “crunk”?

I feel like Devil's Night was the beginning of Eminem becoming more "gangsta." That might have been D12 influencing him because they all talked about violent shyt, but listening to this album, I notice that he's even more frustrated than he was on MMLP. "Quitter" wasn't on this, but that was another one. He was threatening to beat up other artists just for living and encouraged his fans to do the same. :russ:

I never listened to D12 World outside of "My Band," but I heard it was shyt. It's a shame that the WOAT run Eminem was on in 2004 infected five other people, too. :mjcry:

Is there anything as good as "One Shot 2 Shot" on D12 World?

Somebody posted that D12 never rose above shyt On You as a group and they were absolutely right. Nothing else they've done really comes close.

That Got Some Teeth bullshyt being the first single and not Rap Name :snoop:

Joint wasn't even on the album :why:

It's like EM tried to recreate his first single, got bored and moved on when it didn't work. That goofy real slim shady shyt doesn't work for black artist, "my band" was a terrible song for D12.

Getting tired of this shyt with these shady/eminem re releases...why on earth can they not throw a few unheard/unreleased songs from this era? Im sure there are dozens and dozens of album leftovers. Jeez....even some alternate versions of songs ive already heard would be huge and peak my interest.

It would be dope if Em releases a “Lost Tapes” that has track leftovers from all his albums.

I never heard These Drugs before. I clown Em but I’m glad he got clean. The end of this song would’ve been real sad if he had actually gone out that way.

I just realized how depressing this song is today. Eminem basically admits that he has a problem and he doesn't want to be an addict, but his friends are enablers who use just as much, and he's not strong enough to say no. He doesn't give a fukk about dying, and he advises people to keep their issues hidden because once the media finds out, they're going to paint you as an addict for life, even if you no longer are.

I can't tell if this song was a cry for help or just really self-deprecating. :francis:

I get the impression it's probably both. Sad, right?
