Its straight on second listen. Really like how he was flowing on "GOSPEL" and wish he'd get more into that bag. "TOES" goes and is one of my favorites.
I wouldn't say people hate it but I do feel like it wasn't what was advertised. If this was a mixtape then I'd feel the same way you do. When you go on these press runs and start saying that your album will be as big as C3 and or labeling your project as"timeless music", it better deliver and this didn't. It's that simple.

Whoever mentioned DaBaby is the male Megan was 100% spot on. Like Megan, he can rap his ass off, but is generally very repetitive, yet showed glimpses of more than the norm, but seemed to stay directly in his lane for the most part. Also like Megan, I'm looking forward to the next Da Baby project cause I feel that'll be the real test. He may have hyped this like an album, but at around 35 minutes and multiple short songs, this felt like a mixtape more than anything.
