He raps about killing nikkas and hasn't killed anybody. Again though, I'm intimately connected with the streets of Charlotte, maybe that's why this is easier for me...

He doesn't even give off the kind of aura that killers typically have...

Add him to the list of rappers that pump fake and the masses eat it up. To which I'd agree has nothing to do with the quality of the music, if it's good music, it's good music. But Kirk isn't. Have you listened to Back On My Baby Jesus shyt or Blank Blank? You think his most recent albums are on par with either of those?

I dont know him either, just people connected to the hip hop scene in Charlotte (one of my man's is a promoter in Charlotte and has been for years), and having actually been involved in the criminal element in Charlotte, I know cats who were in it the same from all over the city...

Who the hell enters into a dababy album expecting crazy wordplay, metaphors, and supreme lyrical prowess?

DaBaby makes turn up music. For when you on the way to the club, when you need to get hyphy in the gym, before an athletic competition, etc. This album is EXCELLENT if you have tapered and realistic expectations of the artist. Everyone ain't gonna be Kendrick Lamar or prime Rakim. Baby found his lane and is staying in it. He's dope for who he is. I enjoyed the album. Cant wait for the next one

Legit every person I know from Charlotte said he wasn't sweet but he didn't kill that guy at Walmart and he didn't knock out cam coldheart

i like some of the songs on this and the last album he dropped, you put the bet songs from both and you have a solid album

this album is at least 3.5/5

i dont want to judge but i cant see him topping what he did this year , even with all the big features
