If you listened to the first album, Homework, they have a song called Teachers where they give homage to some of the people who influenced them. They've been open about where they got their style from.

Been listening to Daft Punk since 1997 (actually purchased Homework on CD back in 1997 from Camelot Music)...and they always showed love to thier influences. I actually got put on to a lot of DJs from this track ALONE!

No shyt, cacs have been stealing/copying things from black people for their own profit for 500 years, no, much longer than that...

And if you come to think that all modern music was shaped by black people it's a shame we don't own any of the major record labels.
