That's how I feel - there's certain places where I have visited/traveled to where I will never ever go back again. The energy and vibe is completely off- and I get real uncomfortable. Hard to explain but it's like a feeling of doom. But when I got home from those places - I did research into the towns and areas with the history of racism, massacres, riots; it all made sense why. I don't care what anyone says on this thread - there are areas prevalent in the United States with a history of racist practices culminating in mass destruction and death, where it has an effect on the spirit. Not to be offensive- but that's just how it is. Anyone saying different is in denial or delusional. This is documented:

All I will say is LOL. I have been face to face with that element in both. I think people don't realize how delicate a balance we live on. A lot of bullshyt legislation and candidates are percentage points away. All the calls. Hell in grad school doing research, ran into some muchtalking to people in Cali and the Midwest. Houston was no different. I think even woke people don't have any clue how bad it is. Not saying Dallas Ain't bad . Shyt makes me angry every day. I think we think shyt sweet(from my own experience) is cuz growing up in the hood within our community never experiencing racism. I experienced racism as a kid in east texas but not dallas until after i was grown. Growing up in the hood in dallas i didnt even cross paths with yt people until uil competitions in high school.
