I personally have come to grips that Jerry is the GM in name only. Stephen is running the show money wise and for scout and players, it's Will McClay. Basically, the GM is the entire front office plus the head coach. It's probably the reason why they have drafted better and managed their cap better over the past couple years. Them releasing Ware confirmed that. If that Ware that we saw in 2012 and 2013 happened in 2008, Ware gets a contract.

As for the contract. I can live with 4 years 24 million. Not much more than that though. He had over 400 carries this season and he'll be 27 next month. Not saying he is Barber but that contract may hurt Demarco here.

Hes injury prone and all those carries this year took a toll on him. He wasnt running the same the last month of the season.
