Dame advice only viable if you are able to contextualize it in a very, very, VERY specific circle of ppl.

My pops came here to America, nutted in Mom Dukes and gave me the chance to run shyt in the US. I was heated that they bleeped that out. I doubt Envy actual taxable salary is that high but Im certain his gross income is way way wayyyyyy higher than that.

If you know any nikkas in entertainment, then any nikka who really getting is is making cash money that is untaxed and undocumented. Envy is well, well breaded up. In fact, Envy is making a lot more money than Dame off of residuals alone which is why Envy was trying to go at Dame. Problem is, despite how much money Envy makes, his tempermen cant fukk with Dames on air. Envy could probably shyt on Dames entire life if he could say how much bread he is pulling in, but obviously he cant do that. Grown nikkas know that Envy, as fukking corny as he is, is running that shyt, Cthagod included. Only things that matter are, do you enjoy the work you do, are you GOOD at the work you do, do you have a good work/life balance and are you making the money you need to live comfortably and save for the future. People get laid off, most businesses fail... "being your own boss" doesnt guarantee you anything but the false satisfaction of a meaningless title. Lot of nikkas wanna be "bosses" cause they have no skills and are shytty at their jobs. My pops had his own businesses and I do too. Its all the same shyt. Even Dame worked for Def Jam, pretty much. There's pretty much no way to PASSIONATELY talk about why you like having a boss without sounding like a slave. I don't think anybody really WANTS a boss, it's a settle move or they're simply afraid to invest in themselves. And if they say the common answer, "I make more money here than I would as an entrepreneur", then logical next question is "Why don't you have the confidence that your company could be as big/profitable as the company you currently work for?"

Yup,these are questions we as people have shame in answering honestly....people dont want to admit we are lazy or just dont have a mentality to be a boss,we are meant to be lifetime employees....you can say its rude for Dame to point that out,but if thats not the situation then defend your stance on being an employee....im sure theres people who can,the problem is even if you do you still cant sshyt on Dames mentality....because at the end of the day most people even if they love they job would still not want to work for anybody .

most people couldnt even begin to defend their stance because theyve never even thought about it....so i think its good for Dame to even get the wheels spinning in peoples minds,especially BLACK people.

Dame even said people are allowed to have their own perspectives,its just not how he thinks....his only problem is not letting people fully explain they perspectives and defend themselves....in this scenario though i dont think anybody their had a defense for Dame...so we didnt miss anything.
