AndMook,he defended his stance.....Drake was trying to come into his field where he is Mayweather,it aint like Mook made a diss record and expected Drake to respond.
Dame is looking at it from a commercial rap battle perspective, but nowadays battle rap is its own separate entity you could say....Drake offered to step into that field,it would be like Floyd challenging the top UFC fighter,he's no longer "Floyd" at that point.
And Dame wrong about Ether,Jay absolutely had to respond, his strategy for responding was just horrible,he shoulda let that buzz die down from Ether first...instead he did that shyt boxers do when they get knocked down, too cocky to take that knee for a second, they jump back up while they legs still shakey and fall back down again
It's funny as hell how Dame try to turn everything into some gay shyt like "why you askin me about another man? really men don't worry about other men" when he's sitting there flanked by two dudes. Like, does a real man have two dudes follow him around everywhere he goes?![]()
So would you rather own a hot dog stand or be CEO of Apple own 10 billion dollars of their shares? What I said was ABSOLUTELY true though. YOU DON'T RUN THE shyt IF IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY, it's that simple. If you're borrowing money from somebody or using someone else's money, then at the end of the day they own your shyt. They might not boss you around, they might not even give a fukk what you do, but when it comes to the basic, they own your shyt. What you're saying is the equivalent of someone living in their parents' guesthouse, they have the whole guesthouse to themselves, but their parents actually own it or pay the mortgage or rent or whatever, but you feel like you're the boss of that guesthouse simply because your parents don't tell you what to do.
Anything that somebody can LEGALLY take from you under a reasonable circumstance (obviously there's things like the government being able to take your shyt, or somebody can rob you, etc., but I think you know what I'm getting at with my statement)... you don't own, breh.
Maybe it's just a difference of perspective because when I say "boss" I usually mean "owner" and when others say "boss" they tend to mean "supervisor".
Edit: Let me make it clear though, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with using other people's money or being an employee or anything like that, or that it makes you less of a man or anything like Dame said.
No offense but if $60k was enough for you to shut your business down and go work for somebody then you really weren't doing shyt as a business owner. You weren't a business man you were a hobbyist.I have actually owned a small business before so I know what I'm talking about. Closed down the company to make $60K more than I was making as a business owner.
Listen to Dame end up in the poor house.
So Dame....I guess everybody who's an professional athlete should feel bad because they have a job and they aren't a boss
I get his logic, don't even disagree with it, but it doesn't apply to everybody
