How you figure Jay wasn't fukkin with Ye? nikka he made beat for the Blueprint! Just because he was hesitant to co-sign him as a rapper? Ye had to prove himself. I think Dame's problem was that he stretched his money too thin, by trying 100 different things when the music thing was dying.

He has a proven track record for getting things done in the music industry/entertainment industry, but he's an a$$hole and that way of doing business as an executive is dying out. He's not the entertainer that Puff is so is not like he can market himself.
