While it is easy to mock Dame, he comes off as genuine and authentic, for better and for worse. Jay-Z is always hiding his hands, and all of his interviews are a struggle to listen to. This is because his success is a product of his handlers and not himself, it lets you know he has nothing of value to tell anyone.

He tricked people into thinking he was heavily invested in the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, he flipped the script on Colin Kaepernick's movement in the NFL, Tidal is a joke, he is a man who lacks integrity.

There was an interview years ago with someone who worked closely with him and Rocafella. That guy said Dame was getting short changed by everyone because he refused to bring in someone to negotiate on his behalf. He was asking for 100k when he should've got a million. People tried to tell him but he'd just yell at them in typical Dame fashion. One of the reasons he went broke is because he left millions on the table.

That's not good business. He's just a Harlem hustler who approaches everything like he's still on the block trying to get a cut of everything instead of focusing on a few stable investments. It's the same thing we see with Master P pushing a new product every other month.
