JUST SAY YOU DONT WATCH
BASKETBALL....

YOU:

"Only problem with that notion is that Simmons has made well known that he wants no part of playing any other position outside of PG. If that was the case, Philly would have tried it already"

REALITY:
SIMMONS PLAYED PF IN
THE BUBBLE AKA REAL GAMES.

THATS THE DIRECTION THE
TEAM WAS GOING WITH HIM.

DOC CAME IN AND MOVED
HIM BACK TO PG

Scrimmages don't count as real games breh :unimpressed:

When the games actually counted and mattered most, Simmons was being trotted out there as a PG. You experiment during the regular season and not waiting until the bubble to do so.

YOU DONT KNOW
WHAT PORTLAND WILL HAVE
IF THEY MAKE THIS TRADE.

IM SURE A LOT OF PIECES
WILL BE MOVED AROUND.

Will be moved how? The majority of their roster consists of expiring contracts of players that aren't coveted like that by teams nor do they have any actual assets to attach to those expiring to get a meaningful return.

This is why being an NBA GM is so hard. I wouldn’t max any 6’0 guard no matter who. You just can’t. But teams box themselves in. Look at Ja Morant. Everyone loves that guy but I’m not maxing him fukk that :hubie:

My opinion is they should treat these 6’0 guards like how the NFL treats RBs. What’s the point of drafting these midgets in the lottery when they can’t lead you to a title?

Ja Morant is the same height if not taller than Steph Curry. Are you telling me Curry is not worth maxing and can't lead a team to the title?

Everywhere has Ja at 6'3" or 6'4"
Yeah that got him at 6’3 but his play style is reckless to me…

He looks mad small too but yeah.

Steph and Cp3 and Isiah are just 3 little guys that led their teams to titles..

Just 3!

The odds are these little guys cant lead you to a title

As good as Dame is, he's not that great. You're not Winning with him as your best player.

At this point of his career he needs to accept that and become a secondary star or link up with other stars. But I always felt Dame likes being the #1 even if it meant not winning a chip.

CJ would be nice on philly on the low. Him and Seth on the perimeter would complement Embiid very well.

It's clear as day dame is angling for a super max.
If the trailblazer were smart they would trade him for picks.
I always preferred CJ to dame.
I think dames game is easier to exploit in the playoffs.
I would not want a super max mid 30s 6 footer not named Chris Paul.
Ceiling is 2 nd round appearance.
