I'm starting to feel like he's trying to come up with excuses to justify being traded from Portland without him looking like the bad guy. It's stupid logic though considering the fact that he created the situation himself with all the loyal talk and not running from the grind.
Just say that you gave it all you had for all these years and want to go somewhere and win. Fans would completely understand it especially considering how Olshey has failed the team with lack his roster moves over the years. That's all the excuse that Dame really needs.

I've been saying it for a while, Lillard and his salary is a big impediment to the Blazers being a title contender. You can't pay someone with his limitations a supermax. He isn't a floor raiser as we have seen for his career.
If those are his demands, then he is probably going to play elsewhere in 2022 if I am the GM.
