I got my dealers license, and played this game back in the day, it's predatory lending by far, what we do is have people lie on their application, lying on the application is was grounds for revoking the agreement, and repoing the car.....

We got caught and paid fines but alot buy here pay here dealers do the same thing....

How did the business make money doing that? Did you just resell the car?

You make money off the down payment, which was anywhere from 1-5% of the cars total value,

i.e. $20K car, $1000 down, rinse and repeat..
