Now I understand that he has a point but this is the MUSIC business and the MINUTE that GKMC became the platinum selling, new era classic that it is everybody in that camp should've KNOWN what the deal was going to be. This is no different that Michael Jackson dropping Got To Be There and Ben and taking the fukk off like a shooting star while Jermaine and Co. Had to ride the sidelines. Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock all have their OWN opportunities to strike now and PROVE that they don't belong in Kendrick 's shadow. Where's Unit 6? What's the hold up with Oxymoron? I haven't heard much from Jay Rock regarding a new album/single. Them boys gotta put in WORK to get recognized, and this is not saying that they haven't done that or laid the groundwork but I am saying that when one guy for the crew become THAT dude it's hard as hell to establish yourself independent of that and it's been going on in Hip Hop since the beginning.

I agree with what ur saying. They really have to jump on some features to catch up. I think all of them are good in their own right. I actually prefer Ab-soul more but kendrick is just catchier if that makes since. Ab has a great album though. They should just stay in group keep their sound and keep droppin records. I dont think they should drop that bh album just yet. Let that kendrick buzz add up and just rotate droppin albums until all of them are known. This kendrick hype has only been a yr. As long as they stick together and put out some hot shyt they'll be ok. Cant let the media dictate who the group is according to whose popular at the moment. U see what happened to wu-tang and other groups.

Its odd. Before GKMC. I woulda said that they are all on equal footing in 2012.

I mean what happens when Kendrick is so big that venues only want Kendrick and he has to choose between the two, regulating his friends to entourage. It could effect their ability to put out albums and they themselves have to choose between following their own dreams or being Kendricks shadow. Hopefully they get some good compensation touring as a group.
