Now I see why he got so fat in there, all he was doing was eating and talking on the phone

Gunna doesn’t need offsetOffset seems blackballed due to the dice game thing it seems? Hence him working with Gunna? They need to do a joint project
this?

That shyt just aight
Thug can't stop projecting. He gotta pick a different topic because rapping about about who telling is not gonna get it done.
Hypocrite raps

@re'up touched on this upthread, I know I have in the past, but social media era has b*stardized street politics. Case in point, the amount of people that simply believe taking a plea is snitching. From a literal sense, I don't think any of this is snitching because it can't be used to build a case on anyone, can't be used in court in a separate matter and doesn't implicate anyone that can be charged in the future.
It is cooperating well law enforcement though, at various levels. A lot of "street nikkas" will do the same thing though, the rap shyt and celebrity adds a unique dynamic to this situation but dudes take pleas everyday. Unless a cooperation agreement is apart of the plea, what does it matter? YT seems like he's trying to troll the police in the interview but isn't bright enough to pull it off- I've seen lots of guys break and tell everything and that's clearly not what he intended to do there.
All these guys fumbled an opportunity, except maybe Gunna. This street shyt is truly a poison.
Talking to investigators has always happened; implicating others in crimes has ALWAYS been considered a violation. There was no dancing around that.At a basic level why would anyone want to commit a crime with thug after this. i was under the impression you not supposed to say shyt to the police under interrogation except two words
law-yer
@murksiderock thoughts?
edit: i dont like gunna either i think they both lookin funny in the light this aint a pickin sides thing
Appreciate the education!Juan didn’t snitch it was Desiree who became his wife. Everyone went legit, she’s a woman, and she didn’t tell on their dealings it was cartel shyt not street level shyt so I guess it was overlooked.
He’s not overtly mentioned but in Empire State of Mind, Jay raps about the McDonald’s on Broadway where he would meet Juan to cop. 560 State Street days before he blew up whoever said they met in 1997 is wrong.
I have no knowledge of Juan being rat. He married a female who told on a cartel like in the 80s. He married her years later I think. Most the people who lead the team, aren't the most ruthless guys in the click. The leaders are typically the most charismatic, loud, attention seeking, and manipulative. They may be violent too but very rarely are they the most violent; majority of the time, thats not really how you become the "leader"...
That said, to my understanding Thug got his hands dirty on his way up. Well over a decade-plus ago at the height of his gay baiting it was always said that Thug was really from the field. Ralo just talking, Thug probably was never the cold blooded type the way some people around him were, but plenty of people have said he was in the streets...
Which just highlights how weak and stupid these other nikkas gotta be, to march to the drum of a man like this. It happensz but I'm telling you, solid individuals can see funny shyt on nikkas and steer clear of em.
My memory is failing me but I feel like 21 got his card pulled a few times years ago, I think in that 22 Savage situation and I think with someone else too. I dont know if he ever snitched or not, but I'm pretty sure it was already shown years ago he ain't no tough guy. He'll bust something like a lot of nikkas will/would but he ain't no from the soul real tough guy.
I ain't up on the Jay/Juan shyt. I'm a Hov stan, what songs did he mention Juan in, i guess I just never noticed. My guess would be that Hov couldn't have known Juan was a snitch when he was copping from him (because that would endanger Hov), and then once he transitioned out the streets and whenever he found out about Juan and Desiree being rats, he probably rationalized that they not doing "street shyt" or drug business anymore, so why apply street standards to the reality now?
I mean this would be my guess or my rationale if I worked with someone who was a confirmed rat, but you know what, one of the best things Jay does, is he don't be running around explaining his moves to nihgas or social media, he don't run around looking for acceptance. He graduated from his younger self and everything he been doing for over 20 years now is proof of that. Can't do nothing but respect shyt like that, he's basically the persona QC P is trying to wear but P is doing it all wrong.
Bruh I think to most of us this entire Thug saga is entertainment. I don't think people really care about Thug or the other people involved. Its entertainment. Do you see some of the topics across this forum with engagement as high, or even higher, than this thread?I don't believe in policing what people find value or entertainment in, and I think a whhhoooolllleeee lot of what mf's discuss on here is weak and strange and garbage.
I don't get running in threads to poke at people for having that interest though, I just simply don't engage in conversations or topics that don't interest me
Celebrity drama has always interested regular people. This shyt today is what BET News, E News, MTV News, and all the old hip hop magazines were 20, 30, 40 years ago. That's all this is, if this Thug situation happened in 2005 or 1995 it would be on BET News or The Source or Word Up or any of the older platforms of those eras, and us same personalities today, would have engaged in it then. Just consumed it thru yhe mediums that were popular then.
I'm sure plenty of people like yourself rolled their eyes in real time, at the "East Coast/West Coast" rap beefs and all that shyt. Its just entertainment and fodder for most of us, most people aren't that invested in the characters
this?
We are backThat shyt is dirt. That new baby and thug is crack.
