That is a cruel fate for Austin that I wouldn't wish on anyone. To be blind in one eye is one thing but to find out you suffer from Marfan syndrome is the ultimate blow and I know that young man is crushed right now. The only good thing is that he did declare for the NBA and they found out about it when they did. He could have stayed in college and ended up dying with this syndrome being undiagnosed all this time.

I'm not sure this counts as an injury but I know some schools have million dollar policies on their athletes. I hope Baylor has one on him. Awful break for Isaiah.

That's too bad. Also the fact he'll be reminded of it almost every day of his life with dumb ass people asking him of he plays basketball everywhere he goes.

Wow this is sad. I seen an article just the other day talking about how close he was to achieving his dreams after all that he's been through. And now this happens :to:

Less than a week b4 the draft doctors told him his basketball days are over:to:

He seems like he is intelligent, so i hope he finds another passion.

Do you ppl see why education is important, now?

He was already blind in one eye, im sure he took education seriously.

Most 2nd rounders dont do shyt anyway...he was a projected 2nd rounder, I'm sure he'll get picked up.
