Dedicated servers will virtually (not 100%) but virtually remove lag. 2K14 will have lag free team up on Xbox One and that feature will NOT work on PS4/3/360. It'll be there, but it'll be a totally different experience.

Battlefield 4, infamous, watchdogs, destiny, warframe, AC4, Metal gear will probably hold me well into 2014. Games that will all look and perform better on ps4.

If you say so friend. Lets have fun. These are good titles to launch with on the ps4, im not sure why you're pretending it is not because many titles are multiplat. Knowing sonys history i know their exclusive titles are classics so I just know X1's, exclusives arent really must have games for a generation. Outside of gears of war which is a classic series minus its redundancy.

"lag free" is bullshyt. "less lag" is not

the question is what's gonna give the majority of players the best experience. I think he did a good job of explaining the downsides of having player-hosted servers

It won't be lag free because you never know how your connection will hold up. It's a lot better than P2P though. You won't have to worry about lag switching and host advantage. This is a big step if it really works for all games.
