Now I agree with this.. Because the thing is Kobe didn't have to play 48 minutes...Pau has been playing well enough lately that he could have gone twin towers and thrown out Blake, Meeks and Clark for 2 6 minute spurts in each half...

Dude letting Kobe demand his own playing time was a sign that their relationship was too close for his authority to be respected...

Problem is, Gasol and Howard play horribly when they are both on the floor at the same time. The stats are horrible when they are in the same lineup.

I picture him watching Adrian Dantley highlights for the next 9 months straight, like :datazz:

That's be brilliant if he did. It's pretty phenomenal that he played at such a high level this season with all the mileage on his body, so I wouldn't count him out. But the more I read about this injury, the worst it seems. I don't like seeing great players out there looking like shells of themselves, one of the worst things about sports. The playoffs are far worse off without Kobe, really depressing that it's possible the last time we'll ever see this psycho ass Vino Mamba piano-playing weirdo at his best is in a regular season game against the Warriors.

The amount of minutes he played this season... terrible management on the part of the Lakers.

I tore my achilles in 2000. I started playing in leagues again in around 2002-2006. I did absolutely NO rehab outside of the occasional stretch or ankle rotation. I just chilled till it felt back to almost normal. For my level of competition I was still effective just not as effective. 1st step gone, couldn't blow by anybody. Used to be a good rebounder and defender, all gone. Strictly became an offensive player. Jumpers and backing people down in the post and the passing game was still sick. I say that to say a player can still be effective after achilles surgery. He may be different, but still effective. Unlike me, Kobe will actually rehab and has a well paid medical staff at his beck and call. That along with his drive tells me Kobe can come back to the level he is now or at worst a Paul Pierce.

Further proof that people on this began watching sports in 2010

:manny:

If you believe kobe was physically on the level of niq, jordan, lebron, blake or even a young carter at any point in his career you are deluding yourself.

i'm not saying he was a poor athelete but he's more on the level of james harden physically. Professional Analyists will tell you that this was the main difference between him and jordan.

Nobody knows for certain but odds are he will play again.

Well... now that the medical expert has weighed in... :dwillhuh:

I fully believe we'll see Kobe in an NBA uniform again, a different Kobe Bryant, who's game is changed - but I don't think his ego would allow him to go out like this.

I picture him watching Adrian Dantley highlights for the next 9 months straight, like :datazz:

not as good as th:manny:e derick rose one but

i'm kinda hoping he does retire, i'd hate to see him looking as :flabbynsick: as he did in the 2011 season before "germany" He has nothing more to prove. Would've liked him to get another mvp though

That's the thing, two years ago he still averages 25 PPG playing on one knee.

:flabbynsick: Kobe is still going to put up 20+ a night purely on skill and IQ
