Twitter is more popular than facebook, especially for my age group, trending topics and breaking news. Facebook probably has more dead accounts since it was there first, but I'm pretty sure twitter has more active members than facebook. I believe instagram and twitter are equally as popular.

The only people I know who use facebook are old (over 30) and/or ghetto. Other people have accounts, but never or rarely use them. Before the live videos of people getting killed (which goes back to me saying mostly hood/ghetto people still frequently use fb) you'd rarely hear people and media articles talking about what happened on facebook lastnight, it's usually twitter and instagram.

Facebook is struggling in popularity and has been for years which is why they are trying to force people to join and are buying up and copying other sites.Idk if you looked at the stats or are just saying that, but most celebs are on instagram and twitter. People go where the celebs go.

Snapchat ain't going nowhere.

They still have the highest engagement of young milennials out of ALL the social media platforms. It's too late for IG. That's like being worried Saints Row is gonna take out GTA.

This isn't about taking out snapchat its basically showing that insta can do things better.

As a platform Instagram is better, Snapchat is janky as hell, Android version is routinely terrible, and with most of these social platforms people don't know they want something different until you show them. A lot of android users would jump onto something that wouldn't drain their phones so quickly with lazy programming but offer the same features as snapchat.

I'm also intrigued about the AR and VR experiences Instagram could bring in.

The young, ratchet demo for Facebook is poppin man. And most businesses still have fb as their primary social media outlet .
