Jaheim disappeared and hid every couple years. By the time that he came back, R&B was taken over by a new young crop of YNs(Bhris Brown, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo).
His first 2 albums had that heat though. One of the few R&B nikkas that u could bump like a rapper.


In this day and time, putting a woman first would lead to you being lonely.

It didn’t help that he let Charlamagne’s goofy ass get him outta character either or that he wore a purple suit to Whitney’s funeral looking like Willy Wonka.

He could walk into a studio n cut a semi-successful album if he borrowed a labels stylist for an hour.

Cut the hair off entirely, shape up n beijing the beard n hit the 50+ women with some lyrics n vocals.

Why he won't do that is anyone's guess.

You need song writers, quality production, studio time, mixing, mastering and money to survive + a promo budget.

You never know what bridges may have been burned, what contracts people are stuck in. Recording songs ain’t the half

Jaheim came from the era of background singers who actually was in the church. Those guys stayed singing background vocals on his albums too.
