They were sitting in a car looking at me while I was walking. Like they were the FBI or some shyt. Dudes weren't doing a damn thing breh. When you go from getting a scholarship and being cheered out the building at the graduation to that. You basically aren't doing anything. I don't care it's not my life. Only part I cared about was them giving me the meanmug. Because I gotta be prepared to defend myself.

Have dudes sit in a car parked meanmugging you. Say it's overreacting then. I don't care I made it to the crib safely. I'd be the first one to admit that I'm not in the streets. However, I do know how to defend myself.
That's why I tell my little cousins not to let HS stress em too much. I know they gotta play that game, it's a part of being a teen...but just know in ten years you're gonna be ahead of so many of those kids who seem larger than life right now.
Last year I ran into a chick who used to be the shyt in highschool. I had gotten off work and was at a store buying some shyt. Saw her lookin dusty, with a kid. We talked for a bit and she kept saying she was single. I kept ignoring that part and instead talking about random shyt. She finally had to ask "so...can I call you? Give me your number..." I took it. She kept texting about hanging out at my place and I'd be like "I'm busy" or nah I'm out of town. Eventually she got the message and stopped.
Mane I swear to god as I got home from work I saw some of my FORMER highschool peeps in a car smoking weed. It was like four of them. They gave me the and shyt. One of them was a dude who got a sports scholarship, but he's back in the area now. Doing landscaping because I saw him with the uniform. Anyway, those dudes were trying to meanmug me and I kept on going about my business like a true "G'. Damn man Some people really don't take advantage of the thing that are given. I had to earn my shyt the hard way. I wish them well though.
In highschool you was the man homie. Da fukk happened to you?
It depends. I know kids on both sides. I know people that lack ambition, and probably are lost. However, I know much more people who went to college, some went further and got their masters, started a family, visibly happy. We all can't be "winners".
I wish I had some doctors in my circle. I have one lawyer and Physician Assistant.
