Every region has these local IG and Reddit pages. Why are you saying this is exceptional?:deadrose: These platforms need to grow bigger, or the biggest platforms need to cover the NY scene they're covering. Compare their weekly numbers with No Jumper alone.

You're being straight up weirdo breh. I'm trying to point out NY media needs to get its shyt on lock and give shine to the young nikkas in better ways.

First of all, OTR and Booba are both national oriented and they bringing on rappers from ALL OVER THE PLACE.:dahell:Booba putting on southern rappers like Hunxho more than anyone else.
Second, OTR might have videos that went VIRAL with millions but the average video on there isn't even breaking a thousand views. Even Bay Area rap podcasts doing tens of thousands in average views.

When a local rapper got a tape out, most times they can't even go on a press run if they tried because not enough outlets. Nobody outside their core fanbase knows they got an LP out, and that limited exposure hurts. If you think ion know wtf I'm talking about and everything is fixed, then don't even bother replying to me. Maybe the rappers I'm looking for ain't getting on. Your idols are on there, so you Gucci.

U reaching like a mf

If No Jumper was from NY you’d clown it you’d say it’s culture vulture shyt, fukk Adam, etc. On The Radar is more hip hop than that shyt nikkas don’t rap on there.

OTR and Buba is not national oriented they’re local platforms that blew up to include national acts. There are OTR videos that don’t have a lot of views because the artists are up and comers on the same token there’s ones with millions of views with more popping local and national acts.

How is Buba putting on Hunxho just because he had Hunxho on there :mjtf:

U moving the goal posts and Juelzing now

Then you have Kai Cenat the biggest streamer for Gen Z who is also part of the culture and who also has rappers on his show. He had Ice Spice on there and even directed A boogie’s “Did Me Wrong” video.

Who gives a shyt about a mainstream rapper getting on a celebrity streamer? That don't put New York rappers on. Ice Spice is already on! :what:

Buba 100x is another platform where he vlogs with the artists and spends a day with them and does the 20 girls vs 1 rapper shyt shyt does millions of views the kids love this shyt and he now is doing episodes with buzzing acts from different regions but the focus is still mostly NY.

I'm putting out an open challenge to anyone on TheColi.

Look up the last 20 videos on Buba's channels, then tell me how many were with NY and NJ rappers and how many were rappers from other regions??

Most the rappers on his page are local rappers

U was wrong it’s ok

We don’t have the producers like Midwest and south or Cali

Cali has an elite underground scene with alchemist, Larry June, hit boy’s family, mozzy,

Cali is doing what we should be doing Honestly

That drill scene destroyed being creatives and turned into being destructive

Pop smoke was a star because he had charisma

Ice spice took drill and made it into Disney pop

Now if you do drill, your sounding like ice spice which is not the wave for making new acts

And riot is dope producer, but he doesn’t work with anyone else.

We can’t do Jersey house, it’s for jersey

We can’t make club music or go go that’s southern Maryland stuff.

We need to revamp the NY sound and make it successful again.

To add on.. the NY sound was always big drums or 808s with or without samples.

For example: it takes 2, rocwilda, protect ya neck, can’t it be all simple,
That sample drill, club drill shyt started locally most the producers 917Rackz, Fwkboi, Cash Cobain, Riot they from NY and McVertt from Newark

Also no one copying Ice Spice or sounding like her there’s a generic drill rapping style that a lot of nikkas use that’s all

Drill isn’t it bro. That shyt is not hitting the world.

There is no east coast original type of sound

Them beats is fukking UK remixes

Even they moved on from that shyt

Them songs are frozen snacks.

It’s not fukking with the midwest or Cali or South.

If it was everyone would want that sound.

Jersey house has more push but they sample the hits without clearing them. So that’s a problem to push.

The whole shyt is under a ceiling.

Riot is a star out of the producer group from NY.

He got this weak ass chick sounding good.

He is Tay Keith to a Sexxy Red

Why do Yall do this mega region vs. NYC shyt. NYC vs the South, Midwest, and West :dead:

Individually those places don’t hold up to NY city for city

What young Bay rapper is popping? What young LA rapper is popping?
What young Chicago rapper is popping?
What young Cleveland rapper is popping?
Detroit is popping but I wouldn’t say their young rappers are more successful than ours or that they’ve produced a break out star.

UK shyt was years ago catch up there’s no UK music that sounds like this

Yes it was
Bent" is a song by American hip hop collective 41, composed of rappers Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter and Tata. It was released on August 4, 2023, as the lead single from their EP 41 World: Not the Album (2023) and produced by MCVertt and Synthetic. An official remix of the song with American rapper Sexyy Red is featured on the album. The track is considered the group's breakout hit and most successful song, amassing over 65 million streams by the end of 2023 and receiving nationwide radio airplay.

Coli nikkas “nah that shyt wasn’t a hit I never heard it…put on that Larry June” :dead:

I know this may be hard for Coli intellectuals to understand, but some songs are more regional hits. Which is why you won't hear Z-Ro or Maxo Kream here

Whatever you say

Good music is good music, regional or not. I'm old as shyt man...I listened to everyone from Mobb Deep to Ghetto Mafia. That regional bullshyt won't work on me
