Damn that new Drake song flopped off the charts. Did Kendrick really end his career?

Z just said he isn't getting suppressed by the label with these 0/2% airplays, he is just getting 0 request, which means its the people/listeners that don't wanna hear him :russ:

Go troll elsewhere. #2 on the Hot 100, #1 on rhythmic radio, and one of the biggest songs of the summer. It's a hit, get over it.
Yeah that song was a hit. It was just overshadowed by his lawsuits.

"Is Drake's career over?"

:heh:

Dude's become one of the most popular acts of all time and he's had the most dramatic, entertaining career across eras from when music was about art and actually making a bit of money to the streaming era where antics, lifestyle, branding, and clout are how artists make the money.

His career can only be "over" if he decides that he doesn't feel like playing the game anymore. He's Kanye status. He's gotten to the point in fame that he's too polarizing to not be in any music/celeb/hip-hop conversation at any particular time, whether it's for something good or bad. Either way the conversation goes, he'll be at the top of discussion because everyone of all opinions is tuned in.

Its the lawsuit.

He can’t EVER say/rap/sing that he’s over anything or moving on from anything when he literally is going to court over getting raked through the coals.

If he never filed that lawsuit he could’ve moved like Hov did after getting Ethered by Nas. Nokia could’ve been his 03 Bonnie & Clyde.

Naw, his career definitely been damaged by Kendrick.

He's dropped an album with PNB that came and went
All his singles he's dropped have failed to stick.
His Australian Tour canceled due to low sales
He had water and trash thrown at him during a show few days ago
Him and his fanbase are still emotionally hurt from the battle.

The fact that he's flopping without the machine behind him proves he was just a product of the machine.... especially with all the Fugazi streaming numbers.
