1) This generation has only existed for a fukking year now. Let's make these statements once we're at least ~3 years in. Even the PS3 was a slow cooker.
2) @Bathing Ape, what games do you play? What genres do you prefer? Maybe it's time to branch out of your comfort zone and experiment with games that you normally wouldn't play. Gaming is beautiful and there are developers doing new things, making wonderful experiences.
3) Buy a PC. PC is getting consistent bangers at a rate the consoles WISH they had.

But, I digress. These are the five games every 'current-gen' console owner should have imo.

PS4
Bloodborne - the defining game of that system right now, and imo probably for the rest of the generation.
Helldivers - It's Destiny but very, very challenging. And you can play it everywhere!
Guilty Gear Xrd - Beautiful fighting game.
InFamous: Second Son - I love the inFamous series and that game is fukking pretty.
Transistor - Very well written and composed ARPG.

Xbox One
Killer Instinct - Fun fighting game! I think it looks good. :P
Sunset Overdrive - again, another defining game of the system right now. Very challenging game, more than some people would ,leave you to believe.
Forza Horizon 2 - the only arcade racer I like on the current consoles (@Fatboi1 Driveclub's still ass breh :manny:)
Ori and the Blind Forest - Beautfiul Metroidvania-esque game.
D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die. - one of the more unique experiences of the current gen so far.

Wii-U
Smash Bros - It's fukking Smash Bros
Bayonetta 2 - the best action game out of all the consoles.
Hyrule Warriors - It's a good entry game for people who want to get into Warriors titles. Not to mention it's fun, I guess.
DKC: Tropical Freeze - probably the more challenging platformers of the current gen.
Zombi U - It's scary!

Now I can relive those amazing, scripted cinematic moments in BETTER GRAPHICS!

...if those moments didn't wear out on it's first playthrough.

:camby:

I'd fukk with a Killzone Remaster, Resistance Remaster, Ratchet & Clank: Future Trilogy remaster...but Uncharted? That boring ass series? :pachaha:

Uncharted got me sleeping through it, man. It's boring.
Opinion null.

Agreed. This gen has been lackluster. Like its not "magical" like the ones before it. Its stale.

This is why I badly want to go back to PC gaming and stay there.
Maybe you're older, breh. There weren't really that many hot titles at the beginning of last gen either. They'll start to trickle in. Devs were too focused on making cross gen crap to maximize sales. But now that they're finally focusing on current gen games for the most part with most devs, I think we'll see better quality shyt pretty soon. TW3 is about to kick this gen off the right way, I feel.

For what it's worth, I own a Xbone, a Wii U and a PC and I've been eating quite well:manny:.

Maybe you should lay off the shooters and sports and play some different games every now and then, I dunno.:ehh:

Is there a lack of MP shooters now or something...?
it doesn't seem like there's anything like when COD or Gears were at their peak. I guess there's BF4 and Ghosts, but no one seems too excited about those games. games that try 'new things' like Titanfall and Evolve also haven't been very successful

anyhow, how is it you've been playing Pillars of Eternity for like a week straight :wtf:
