I'd say this gen has had a better start depending on what kinda games you're into.

We arent 2 years into this gen yet but we know the release schedule to that point.

2 years into 360 gears, bioshock, call of duty 4 and mass effect had released. 4 of the best games of the entire gen. Thats just off the top of my head. I could find others easily if i look.

There is nothing even close to touching those on xbox one.

I dont know why sony stans are in here acting like the ps4 has some magical line up that the xb1 doesn't. Instead of being realistic about this gen being lackluster they consistently inflate this idea that the ps4 is bring them loads of entertainment that can't be found on another system.


I wish we had landmark games like we did with the 1st two years of pretty much every gen besides this one. Something new, that changed the game up or raised the bar....


I'm hoping the witcher 3 or maybe metal gear 5 does... but I really dont have much faith in mgs5 being revolutionary like 2 and 3. Its just not looking good. And its mostly because everything is being rushed out remade or remastered, and whatever extra time they could put into it, is later released as dlc and they make even more money.

Sure there are fun games, this gen but absolutely nothing on either system that if you missed out on playing you'd being missing out on a great defining game like previous gens.

Its the truth.

Titanfall gets shyt for being short on content, but it actually has more content than Modern warfare at launch, and the gameplay is better.

Battlefront will undoubtedly have more content than both and it will be a great multiplayer experience.

Mass effect was good, but 2 and 3 were better and were what solidified the series as greatness. The witcher 3 is shaping up to be a much larger and better game than mass effect.

Batman looks awesome and easily matches the quality of bioshock.

Forza Horizon 2 is arguably the best racer ever, and definitely better than anything released last gen.

Destiny was better done by borderlands imo... It wouldn't have taken much to turn BL into a MMORPG. Titanfall, I'll give you that. Almost every shooter to date has taken something from it already. The witcher, I'm hopefully for.
