I agree with you 100%, I’m the last nikka to glorify street shyt and I’m trying my hardest to get my nephew out the streets right now. But since you are being more reasonable I’ll give you my take on it. Like you said, there’s square nikkas outside. There’s nerd nikkas out here taking risks. And there’s nikkas from the street who are living completely clean lives. There’s a middle ground. Most nikkas aren’t 100% thugs or 100% square.
In my life personally I own barbershops. 90% if my barbers are (former) street nikkas. nikkas from
BPS, Inglewood, Pacoima Piru, etc. I deal with these nikkas on commission. It’s a cash based business. You think I can come at these like “hey y’all I’m a square lame! Please don’t skim off the top

”. NO. I’m not a street nikka and they know it, but I gotta come at them firm, let them know I’m not with the bullshyt and that I’m watching every dollar like a hawk. I’m around the same age or younger than these nikkas too. So I gotta approach in a way that lets em know I’m not no dummy and they can’t pull no shyt on me. And I’ve never had a problem. And the one time I did have to press a nikka about something we were able to hash out like men. Now does that make me a street nikka no but it also means I’m not no square lame cuz they would’ve been took advantage of me if that was there impression of me.
to buy a house when I was younger my pops had to borrow some money off the street for the down payment. Was he a street nikka no but he had to take that risk to move my family to a better area, and he paid back in full on time cuz he knew what time it was. Square lames on this forum would never that chance.
there’s examples everywhere of people navigating both sides of the spectrum. Street smart and book smart per se.
@360Waves has shown a big disdain for street nikkas and street culture on here so many times that’s why I dismissed his response off top cuz i knew he was reacting off that emotional disdain.
