They aren't interested in exporting their culture... Go read history

They were the worlds' number one economy in the 7th century breh... Their belief was China is heaven
so why go anywhere else ?
That was a very different China. Modern china is running out of women, water, and voluntary trading partners; all of which are excellent excuses to start expanding outwards. Arguably the belt and road initiative exists solely for cultural and physical expansion out of china.

Additionally, China has a huge chunk of their educated and wealthy population actively fleeing to Vancouver, Seatle,Silicon Valley, Sydney, Aukland, Tokyo etc. Each of those cities and the motives for Chinese citizens to relocate to them did not exist in the 7th century.

They'll never have a lack of "voluntary" trading partners - there is always a deal to be cut.
Everything else just sounds like this book written in 2002 which predicated an outright collapse
IN 2011...

That was in the past - Canada and Australia have become OD sinophobic so the only wealthy
and educated chinese actually leaving china are students who will return to China after their studies

The rest are either locked up on corruption charges or falling in line like Jack Ma and Fan BingBing

That's not true. China has been trying to increase their cultural export for the last decade as that is where we have the big advantage over them. There will be a cap on their global influence without that soft power.

That's not entirely true.

Its 100% not true. Chinese are desperate to export their language and culture. They pay universities to hold “Confucius centers” all over the world, thing is no one’s really interested

They are like the old nikka who uses money to attract females but the females aren’t into him, just his money

They aren't desperate for that or they'd invest more resources towards it. What they are desperate for is leading the world in manufacturing, green technology and quantum computing ...

They have 1.4 billion people. 20% of the worlds population. Why would they care about getting better at propaganda ? Something which they 1) suck at. 2) deem to have no use compared to tangible results.

Russia has and always will be better at propaganda

Wait, hold up. So we are clowning people for paying people of other cultures to sing happy birthday but there are people in the US paying $50+ for celebrities to send birthday messages to people?
